The Questions People Ask Before They Call Us
Pricing, contracts, migration, integrations, and specialty fit — answered directly. If something here is still unclear, that is worth a conversation rather than a longer page.
Pricing and contracts
Pricing is per provider and scales with the modules you run. It is quoted against your actual provider count, locations, and specialty mix rather than published as a single list rate, because a two-provider practice and a forty-provider oncology group are not the same product footprint.
No, and that is deliberate. Implementation is scoped and quoted separately so you can see what you are paying for rather than having it amortised invisibly into a monthly rate. See our implementation services page for what that scope covers.
Standard agreements run annually with multi-year options. We will walk through the full terms during evaluation — including what happens to your data if you leave — before you are asked to sign anything.
No. Support and platform updates are included. We do not meter tickets or sell a premium tier to reach a human on the phone.
Implementation and migration
Most specialty practices go live within 60 to 90 days of kickoff; larger multi-location groups typically run four to six months. The pace usually depends on how quickly historical data can be extracted from the outgoing system, not on our configuration work.
Open AR migrates with balance, payer, aging, and claim history intact, and is reconciled against your outgoing system before go-live. Your team works those balances in the new platform from day one rather than running two systems in parallel.
No. The platform is hosted, so there is nothing to provision or install. Your team's involvement during implementation is workflow decisions and data validation, not infrastructure.
A named team from our Cincinnati headquarters, the same people from kickoff through go-live. Implementation is not subcontracted to a partner.
Integrations and your EHR
No. Unlimited Financials runs as the financial layer alongside the clinical system you already use, connected through HL7 and FHIR interfaces. Integration scope is confirmed during discovery, before contracting.
We maintain direct connections and clearinghouse routes across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers, and operate our own EDI switch. If you have an unusual payer mix, raise it during evaluation and we will confirm coverage specifically.
Usually yes. We integrate with a range of partner platforms for engagement, patient payments, and prior authorisation. See the integrations page for current partners.
Specialty fit and compliance
Oncology, infusion, gastroenterology, urology, rheumatology, ophthalmology, neurology, and a range of other specialties where general billing software struggles. Specialty coding rules, modifier logic, and payer policies are built into the platform rather than configured on afterwards by your team.
Coding edits, modifier requirements, and payer-specific policies are maintained centrally and updated as payers publish changes, so your team is not tracking bulletins to keep claims clean.
Yes. We operate under a Business Associate Agreement with full audit logging, role-based access controls, and encryption in transit and at rest. Our trust page covers security and compliance posture in detail.
No. Automation validates charges against payer policy and coding edits, then flags exceptions with the reason attached. Coding decisions stay with your certified coders, and every automated action is logged and reversible.
